Corteva Agriscience renews FSL sponsorship and enters with own team!

Being the main sponsor of the FSL since 2019, Corteva Agriscience renews its sponsorship for the upcoming season. For the first time, Corteva will also participate in the league with its own team. The new team Corteva Agriscience consists of the former players of Burning-Gamers.de (BG).

Sponsorship reflects commitment to future generations

The renewal of the sponsorship for the upcoming season 3 is part of the commitment to inspiring the next generation of farmers. “On the field and in the game, we strive to spark enthusiasm for the next generation of farming”, says Dana Bolden, Corteva Agriscience Chief Communications Officer.

“From gamers who love farming to future farmers that love gaming, our involvement in the esports arena is a great opportunity to interact with the younger generation. Corteva is focused on effectively harnessing science, technology and innovation to spark forward-thinking and sustainable agriculture practices. Through Farming Simulator, we hope to harness this same passion and highlight what innovation looks like in agriculture.”

Familiar faces in new colors

With the acquisition of the former BG lineup, the team of Corteva will be well positioned and will receive a lot of support from the large BG fan base. “We are excited to have secured players from the popular Burning-Gamers.de team to represent Corteva in the league”, comments Bolden on the acquisition.

Team Captain Felix Hasenberger seems just as excited: “We are excited to be participating in the 2021 Farming Simulator League, and proud to be working with Corteva to spark enthusiasm among the next generation of farmers. See you at the tournaments!”
