Rablix remains king of the FSL and leads Corteva Agriscience to victory

November 29th, 2020

Many new teams tried their luck at the first tournament of the third FSL season. But none of them could qualify for the Top 8 Bracket on Sunday. WLKN's team came closest, which not only won a game against Lindner, but also got the highest number of points (1133). In the end they lost to the factory team from Austria 2 - 1.

The teams that came out on Saturday were known from last season, but most of them started with new line-ups. In addition to the player changes, the gameplay adjustments also provided some premieres. So there were two games in which both teams decided on the identical selection of tractors.

For the teams of Bednar, Lindner, mYinsanity and Valtra the tournament ended in the quarter finals. In the semi-finals Krone vs Corteva Agriscience and Trelleborg vs John Deer played two exciting semi-finals with the better end for Corteva Agriscience and Trelleborg respectively. In the final, the question was, can Trelleborg's new line-up repeat the success of its predecessors or will Rablix win the next tournament after his move to Corteva Agriscience?

An exciting, tight and worthy final

The two finalists made no gift to each other. Corteva Agriscience was ahead in the first game but Trelleborg equalized in the second game. The third game should decide the victory in this tournament. Corteva closed the match in a dramatic game and is the first tournament winner of the new season!

Claas Eilermann and Matt Huber, League Officials of the FSL: "We are happy that we could finally start the new season. The players gave their best and we have seen exciting games. We are looking forward to the development of the teams until the next tournament in January and congratulate Corteva Agriscience on their victory".
