THE FSL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IS COMING SOON

October 25th, 2021

Only a few days separate us from the Farming Simulator League World Championship of the already third season. Over the last 10 tournaments the 16 best teams could qualify. The group phase and the final will be held from November 12 - 14 at the Erlangen location. And this is how the program will look like:

Schedule

On Friday and Saturday the group phases will be played. The first and second place of each group will advance. On Sunday, the winners of the group phase will face each other in the play offs and finals - hot matches are guaranteed!

Group formation

The group phase will also be exciting. The first 4 teams of the current table, which have collected the most circuit points during the season, will be divided into groups. The same will be done with the teams that occupy the last ranks in the table. The positions 5 - 12 will be randomly drawn into the groups. The following graphic illustrates the whole thing:

how the groups will be build

Group Stage

Some of you may already know the double-elimination system, but here is a short summary:
In best-of-3, 1st place plays 16th place, with the winner moving to the next round and the loser moving to the "loser bracket".
The other two assigned teams will also play a bo3, with the winner facing the first game winner to determine the group winner and the two losing teams battling it out for second place. So the winner of the "loser bracket" can fight their way back into the tournament.

Play-Offs and Finals

Out of the group runners-up and winners finally results the bracket for the final day. Here, too, the concept is continued: Group A winner meets Group D runner-up, Group B winner meets Group C runner-up. The play-offs and the semifinal will be played in bo3. The final match however will be a best-of-5!

Play-Offs and Finals bracket

Keen fans of Farming Simulator League will quickly notice that the composition of the groups and the way the matches will be played was already applied at the last World Championship.

If you have carefully studied the FSL homepage, you will have noticed that the groupings have not been announced yet. So check the news section regularly and stay up to date.

We wish our participating teams good luck and a lot of fun during the preparation!
