Winner Bracket - Expectations were met

The first match alone brought out the common thread of Group A: the favorites prevail. Partly due to the rules of the World Championship, but mainly the teams showed their skills. In the first match, Trelleborg rolled over Die Ackerflöhe with 1,259 points, and DAF also had no chance in the second match.

In the second game John Deere and Bednar met. As it was confirmed during the last tournament at HeroFest, Bednar is not an easy opponent. In the first round, the team scored the victory with the help of 40 bales. They did not let themselves be left in the second match either.

The third match went on in the Winner Bracket: Trelleborg vs Bednar. We saw this match also last time at HeroFest tournament - but this time with a different outcome: Trelleborg kicked Bednar directly into Loser Bracket and secured the first place in Group A.

Loser Bracket - finally a Best of 3

This started the two matches for the runner-up of the group in the Loser Bracket. Match four was played between Die Ackerflöhe and John Deere. After two rounds, it was clear that John Deere had moved one step closer to the finish line.

The warmly played John Deere team now met the loser from the Winner Bracket, namely Bednar. They swept the first round, outscoring the Czech team by 888 points on 40 bales. With the outcome of the second round - both teams had 38 bales, but Bednar used the better multiplier - the first third round started on this day. This underlines above all on which even level the groups move from a certain point. John Deere was just behind Bednar until the superdrop, then unfortunately failed on a bridge crossing and so the lead was gone. In turn, Bednar delivered a full 41 bales, 40 over the barn window above and the ridgebale below to win the Looser Bracket.
