Play-In Saturday

Sunday FINALS

Quarterfinals

The quarterfinals opened, like the play-ins, the team of Corteva Agrisciense. In Season 3, this team got off to a fantastic start, since then fans have been hoping for more successful matches. With more luck of the draw this season, the Corteva made it to the quarterfinals this time. The opposing team, Fermiers Flamboyants, showed more consistency in ball handling over 3 rounds. So, the French were the first team to reach the semifinals.

Next, the Swiss eSports team mYinsanity faced the German sports club DJK Ehenfeld. Both teams met on a level playing field: they both scored over 40 bales per round and displayed similar timing. The little bit of luck to win was secured in each case by mYinsanity, who were the first semi-finalists after 2 rounds.

Top of the table Trelleborg met one of the best teams in Denmark in the third match of the day: Team Charlie. Trelleborg surprised with a new scoring strategy in the pick and ban phase at the beginning of the match. After two rounds, the Danes had to admit defeat: Trelleborg put down close to 1,000 point rounds in both rounds to secure third place in the semifinals.

For the first time in the finals, the North American team Sim Game Alliance made their debut. Their opponent was Team Lindner, notorious for unusual tactics. In the first round, the Americans took the victory in the last seconds. Then the Austrians showed why they belong to the more difficult opponents: a modified version of their "Lindner tactics" developed in Season 3. After two more rounds, the last semifinalist was Linder.

Semifinals

The match between Fermiers Flamboyants and mYinsanity promised some excitement. After all, two eSports teams met here. It turned out that the French team didn't really find its way into the game. To come up with 25 or 26 bales in a final match is not enough with the current patch. The match was decided after two rounds and for the first time in Season 4 mYinsanity was in the final.

We have rarely seen this clash before, but Trelleborg can hardly be stopped with the current roster. Although arguably the two most actively creative teams, Lindner were powerless against the reigning World Champions Trelleborg. After two repeated tight 1,000 point rounds, the second finalist was determined: the Swedish team Trelleborg!

Finals

Clear favorite in the final match of the day was Trelleborg, with mYinsanity activating the clearly larger fan club. The lesson Trelleborg showed us in the third match of Season 4 is definitely that it's not just the bale count that matters. In each of the rounds played, they surrendered fewer bales than their opponent, merely earning the better multiplier. Team Trelleborg remains the undisputed leader of the table!

The goal of the game is to harvest as much wheat as possible within 15 minutes, press bales with the threshed swath, and in turn deliver them to the barn. Points rain down for each bale delivered and even more when the team sells the harvested grain.
